I'm a Rychart Bounty Hunter. I went spying, got some records, and made a visit to my buddy the Rychart ex-Bounty Hunter to sell them. The Rychart Intel agent who wanted the job done lives a long way away.  Instead of telling me about House Moklumnue unhappiness twice, shouldn't I be hearing that De Valtos is pleased? And will it really benefit some House Moklumne Archivist to the tune of 97% influence gained to see his house's activities revealed like that? |

Oh, I was just going to report this too. I got 3 identical "negative" lines on mine.
Also, separate UI bug, there are two "Back" buttons at the top right.

And what was with the 97% influence gain? That is based on the Link Score. If the Influence change was 10 points, then 9 will be applied (93% of 10) for that Contact. If a Link was 25% power, then only 2 Influence would be transferred. Does that help? |

Yes, thank you. Without the raw number chnage in the Link score being reported, I thought that somebody was getting 97% of their total influence, or something, so 30-40 points there... seemed a lot for discovering one wretched double-agent

Is there a specific reason behind choice of currently displayed text? Wouldn't it be more straightforward to just say "This sale would benefit Contact Bob (+# Influence)"?

In the future we might display the adjusted influence, but since you don't really know all the impacts (Contact Traits, 2cd degree Contact Link, etc) I didn't want to make it seem like Influence = +5 was the end of the story. |

Maybe we should give more general feedback like "97% Influence (5 Points) Minor Impact" vs. "67% Influence (25 Points) Major Impact" Still trying to figure out how much of this we can process at sale time and how much has to be processed later. We really don't want selling Data Records to take 30 seconds. We might have to just mark the data for processing and then do it later while you're flying around the galaxy. In that case, we'll have to display slightly less data. |
