Scroll Bar for Information box, & Pause hotkey on Windows?

Sometimes allot of information scrolls into and out of the bottom right scrolling information box. I don't think slowing the display speed is a good answer.
I cannot always split my attention, and miss messages.

Could we have a Pause hot key for the Windows version. (even if just for the Alpha).

If I could have it all; A scrolling side bar, so I could move up and down the displayed messages.

Or output that log to a separate screen somewhere so we can refer back to stuff. Kind of like a supplement to the Captain's Log? Wouldn't need to retain too much info, I'd say last 20 entries would be plenty.

Another horrid problem is that there is a lot of information you can get while spicing, but the spicing window covers the box on android you cannot read it at all.

I like Athios' suggestion. Maybe clicking on the scrolling display takes you to a screen dedicated to these toasts/notifications.

On my small phone, some of the notifications are too long and overlap with each other. Like if I use the spice hall twice in a row picking up a rumor and a new contact.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think we're all looking to solve the same set of issues -- screen overlaps, and the fact that you want to look back to say, the last 30 messages. We're working on both!

While talking about scrolling, will you be implementing a scrolling control for the message box? Like others think, there is too much information going past to be able to read it all. Especially when something covers it up. The same could be applied to the recruiting window, spice/doctor's windows, ship's upgrade window, and etc. This is especially needed while playing on a smaller screen.
