Ha! And all this time I thought the run away/seek shelter encounters were based on how close/far you were to buildings on the map. Rofl.

Slide87 - the new job pricing system should generally increase prices. However, the increase is focused on the danger you face based on type of job, neighborhood you are operating in, and the target Faction.

Once Cory mentioned jobs for 2k I decided to go to my best rep area and give all those old connecters a call (I mentioned something about rep n connectors in a bug report) and behold...some of them had 2k jobs available...all capture. I use stun gloves on everyone to keep rep manageable so the jobs seemed tough, guns seem to hurt your rep more...or maybe its just me.
Happy hunting.

@gravis - you kill an enemy when you reduce their HP to 0 (guns reduce mostly HP, and a few MP sometimes). You generally knock an enemy out when you reduce their MP to 0. This is good for capture, but also mitigates your Reputation loss. Killing a Los V ganger causes more trouble than knocking one out and rolling him into the ditch.

Good info! That's how I think it should work anyway. Who knew being a cybersword would lead to the most peaceful way of dealing with people. Yay stun gloves! Though it will all end when more melee weapons are released,as I will have to test them all on any volunteers that pop out of the shadows.

Well with a chainsaw it won't be people volunteering to be tested,it will be me volunteering people for the testing. That's an important difference! ;D
Every one will be volunteerd from the lowly LV hyperganger, to the YAKA samurai, right on up to the mars...err whatever, and everything between.
I may write a chainsaw bible on exactly how effective the holy tool is on each being in the NBZ that may challenge you.
