So, I have noticed something with my new knight. When I first started playing, he fairly reliably avoided toxic gas events. Now, he can't make it across a neighborhood or two without having his skin burned off. It is almost like the toxic gas is gaining exp and getting stronger...

I thought the same thing,maybe whatever check it is that avoids it gets more difficult as you gain levels,or very bad luck...my knight does still occasionally avoids it.

@tenebrous You know, I was wondering about that myself. It does seem that the dome is getting weaker.

+1 XP to anyone who recognizes a time based difficulty scale at work.
No one has time to repair the Dome now that the Matrix is online. Everyone is busy on HolographicTwittery and such not.
Are you guys fronting with recruits or using your main character for map movement?
It is all skill vs. danger level in that area.

Yes TP,i've also noticed that in the initial part of the game the encounters are "lite",less battles,less encounters,and I think this is a feature(really appreciated^_^)...A related question: If i have a Toxic Gases Encounter,or a Explosion Encounter,the choice i make determines the gained XP?? EG: if i choose Run Away good part of times I gain a XP,i don't try to choose Seek Shelter...Also this could be explained in the next help file version,TB???Please ^_^

I'll try fronting with the low level recruit and see if things get any better.

I did suspect it was a difficulty curve similar to STRPG's turn based system. I do front with my main character, who has ridiculous athletic skills...

So, does this happen to the normal citizens of NBZ or does the dome ACTIVELY select where it should crumble, i.e. on top of your CK's skull? ;D

What magnitude of Atmospheric Pressure are we talking about under this dome, or are there enough stress fractures and cracks that whatever pressurization might have been is now long gone?
