Whatever the decision, it would be good to have a mention of the behavior in either the tutorial or the library (or both.)
You *could* also get fancy and have the ability to select where to "land" be part of a tact point upgrade. If you did that, you'd either need it to be a very low cost upgrade available early in the RQ tree or combine it with an under-used upgrade.
