We don't know yet. The alpha is set to have several phases, and we are still in phase 2. I'm still finding plenty of bugs, tons of art isn't done yet, much of the UI is still in a rudimentary state, fairly important things like 'buying a new ship' and 'smart AI enemies who know how to use the same skills that your crew has' aren't written yet -- so while the TB never give out ETAs, I would say -- quite a long time yet. But the music went in last release. Things are progressing. Remarkably quickly given that there are only 2 of them. But ST2 is a big, big, game.
