So, I've got the following party most of the way through Red Hill on Hard; I'd like to get some advice before getting too far past the boost-in point.
My initial plan was "-AP abilities for everyone!", so I've got Kincaid, Vincent, Kyera, and Selen, with Kincaid focused on melee, Vincent on group lightning damage, Kyera on healing and off-tank, and Selen on Pinning Shot.
My basic thinking is:
Crippling Strikes to 5 for Kincaid, then either Lunge or Storm of Steel; points in buffs as required.
Vincent will focus on TB/ES.
Kyera will either go Banishment or Smiting Blow.
Selen will focus on buffs for a while, eventually picking up more AoE on Pinning Shot.
My biggest problems so far are high-defense enemies; everyone but Kyera can hit most things consistently, but e.g. the beetles frequently take single-digit (or 0) damage.
Specific questions:
Does SP drain work on spells? Vincent is almost always the first person to run dry, since Kincaid and Selen both have 10% or so SP drain.
Would it be better to develop Kyera's melee or spell attacks?
For Selen, am I going to need the -armor from Punishing Blades to deal with high-armor enemies later on, or can Thundering Blades/Energy Storm carry me through? Here's my party so far, level 17 in the inner keep.
Kincaid (stats in Dex/Con, skills in blades/buff duration)
Cunning Footwork 3, Crippling Strikes 3, 1 point in other buffs, 3 points pooled.
Vincent (stats in Kno/Con, skills in sorcery/buff duration)
Flash Freeze 2, Energy Storm 3, Thundering Blades 4, 1 point in other buffs
Kyera (stats in Int/Con, skills in Lore/Conjuring)
Myshana's 3, Warders Shield 4, Piety Ward 1, Purifying Breeze 1, 2 points pooled.
Selen (stats in Dex/Con, skills in Bows/buff duration)
Sly Look 2, Punishing Blades 1, Pinning Shot 5, 1 point per buff, 1 point pooled
Thoughts? Is this a viable plan through hard difficulty?
Thanks!
