The game difficulties state that "After level 6, new Templar recruits..." lag behind by X%. What about at and before level 6?
Also, is the level lagging based upon your captain or some average of other templars?

Level lagging is dependent on Captain level and the difficulty. Higher difficulty means recruits will lag behind more.

Ok, that answers one of the questions. But what about before the Captain is level 7?

I think basically that below level 6 the lag % is too little to matter because the numbers are so small, so it is skipped. That is how I remember it

drspendlove - when the enemy decides to attempt to spawn, there is a % chance of success. This is spawning outside of a Tact Point -- from a Tact Point, they just spend SP and spawn. From spawning points -- Easy 46% Normal 50% Demanding 55% Hard 58% Brutal 64% Nightmare 70% Ironman 78% Hell Ironman 88%

What is "Hell Ironman"? I don't see it as a listed difficulty. A difficulty you can only opt into after beating the game. It is for New Game+ only. It's the freaking worst
