Also understand that you need to spend RP to get better stuff for classes. I would save Neptunes for second run through. Why have average soldiers and average neptunes when you can have exceptional soldiers?

What's the difference between burst fire and shredding fire and does the neptune have a similar skill ?

Shredding Fire causes a lot more damage but has limited range and AoE.
