This is a known issue with the Orcin in the new area. They are OP. Will be fixed for next.

I'm a bit confused about crafting sometimes. This decreased accuracy and parry of the blade and seemed to ignore the tuning item. I was hoping for something which would complement my attacks but now I'm disappointed for using a good cloak for it.

What type of magical dagger were you trying to get?

The previous weapon Vince was using was a Sai sword. This worked very well with Elemental Sundering attacks. I was hoping for a dagger which could continue this partnership. Currently he pulls a +78 lightning damage with his attacks so is quite powerful but I could have crafted any other +lightning item to get a similar result I feel.

I believed that by using a tuning item with only one "type" would increase the chances of getting a weapon with that "type". In this case I was hoping for +magical dmg and whatever the bloodstones would add. I am happy with the %sp drain, but as he is currently equipped with the heartbeat of summer I didn't need it right now.

cowboypete - what you got was the dagger with magical damage that most resembled your cloak, from the possible choices. Therefore, it may have been the only dagger with elemental damages in the set.

Oh, so the results are based on a pre defined item set? Interesting. So I guess that providing a little heads up like when amarth forges you something removes too much of the risk and mystery around bloodstone crafting?

I guess also on a positive note the "value" of the tuning item doesn't have a direct correlation to the results gained? For example a +2%sp item could get the same result as a +6%sp item?

That is correct. Sometimes, using simple, one-quality tuning items (only 2% SP Drain or only +6 Fire Dmg) can lead to you getting the best results. But sometimes they miss entirely and cause the crafting to be random and untuned (no +Fire Dmg options). The tuning item only causes similarity, it does not impact power.

Now bloodstone crafting stealth armour, is the entire class unable to be crafted or just the studded leather sheathe? There are many, many valid crafts in Stealth armor. Dude.

I've had a good few armours refuse to be crafted in the past. Mainly stealth,but perhaps I've been trying to craft stealth armours more often than light or heavy. All we can do is report them. Then they'll get fixed!

Found the root problem behind these armors that weren't crafting. Looks like a huge swath of armors is fixed.
All of the armors listed in this thread are fixed.
