Weird thing - was finally going to upgrade a component. Was trying to figure out what I could afford for a weapon, and the scroll function suddenly stopped working correctly. Now when there are enough items to look through that scrolling is needed, the scroll wheel function reverses, so that scrolling "down" now scrolls "up", which is strange, but doesn't break anything. Worse though, is that the list of items to scroll through is now not going all the way up or down. I can only access/see a portion of the options. I have exited and logged out of Steam, and gone back in. No change. I have verified my game files. I have moved to another planet. I have created a new captain. None of it has made a difference. Has anyone else seen something like this?

Assumed it was going to be adjusted, but thanks for pointing it out. interim fix: use mouse click/grab to scroll more slowly through the components.

Can anyone reproduce this? I've been in the screen scrolling around and clicking on stuff for some time without any luck.
@renaissance - any idea what order of operations you are doing to make this happen? It is guaranteed to be caused by the series of clicks / keystrokes / mousewheel that you are doing that I am just not thinking to try. Could you describe clearly what you do to get to this point? I am sure we can fix!

Unfortunately no, I can't. I was in the upgrade screen, I selected weapons, I clicked on one of the level one torpedoes, the scrollable list of weapons came up. So far, so good. Did not upgrade. I backed out one level to the list of installed weapons, selected a different weapon, the list of scrollable upgrades came up. I *think* it was still normal at this point. I went back to the installed weapon that I had first selected. Asst this point I noticed the issue with the scrollable list. When I go as far up or down as I can, I can see a little bit of the next item, but I can't be seeing more than a third of the list.

We're going to keep working on this to see if we can reproduce!

Fallen, I think that the issue is a cross between user error and a sort-of bug. MintyDragon is correct, I think, about the speed of the scroll. I just went back into the game to see if I could figure anything out. What I found is that if you just scroll....zip, you get a partial item at top and bottom, and it looks like you aren't getting a complete listing. Once that happens, you can't fix it from there. But if you back out and go back in, and scroll one click at a time, the problem does not occur, and everything looks and acts normal. Doing as MintyDragon said, and using the "click-grab" to pull the list up and down works reliably and without issue. So doing it that way will be my go-to. Thanks so much for looking into this Fallen.

I'm trying to reproduce here and am not sure I am seeing what you're seeing or I am still missing it. Sorry to have to ask so many times! Maybe a screenshot of what you're seeing could help?

Fallen, yes, it looks like I can reproduce it. When I say "scroll - zip" I mean "spin the mouse wheel", i.e. Scroll fast. It looks like doing so fouls up something graphically, and leaves the *impression* that you are not able to access all the items because you get this odd partial item showing up at the top and the bottom and the scroll speed is *so* fast you don't see the items because they go last ship fast. Please note that when I say "scroll fast" I don't mean "as fast as you can", I mean a normal spin as though you were quickly scrolling a document. Scrolling very slowly, one click at a time, does not cause it to occur, and the click-drag technique bypasses the issue.
