Back to the Quest but not for long. It appears I have now come to the end of what has been developed and will need to wait for the final act to be produced. Thanks again for your help. I will start up Templar in the meantime!! You already made it to Fierhold? You mad man!  No I am still in Ruins of Ember. The east exit is blocked by gate with red locks and the south exit says "This is the end of the current story content for Ep4". Is it possible the version I have from Steam is not the most current version?? My version is 4.4.5 |

The latest version is 4.4.5, but it sounds like you've got some oddity going on in your game. I would suggest uninstalling the reinstalling the game on Steam. It will not delete your games, but its always nice to back them up just in case. What you are referencing sounds like its about 10 updates old.

I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it on Steam - NO DIFFERANCE! HELP!!

cmrenberg - try this -- delete the data.db from your saved game folder. Very sorry about this bug, its as is you have a data.db from multiple releases ago. I wonder if some file lock has been preventing Steam updating the game?

I wonder if some file lock has been preventing Steam updating the game? My data.db shows a creation date of 2/27 since I reinstalled the game and last modified 2/27. It is 3,637,248 bytes in length if that is any help! |

Yeah, sounds right ... never had anything like this before. You still get blocked from exiting the City of the Dead? The red locked doors are only for groups with Vincent.
