Name: Underhanded Exporting Job: Smuggler Level: 11 Cooldown: 9 Weeks Type: Conflict/Mission Completion Effect: Upon finishing a mission impacting an ongoing Trade Ban, extend the Trade Ban by 2-4 weeks. Your next attempt to access a Black Market on a world owned by the benefited faction will have greatly reduced risk.
Note: The reduced risk will come in the form of a one-time hand that has a heavy numerical push toward low risk factors, making it unlikely to see risk cards worse than a -1. This one-time deal wouldn't stack for a single faction. As soon as the hand is viewed, the bonus is consumed.

Name: Privateer Job: Pirate Level: 11 Cooldown: 9 Weeks Type: Conflict/Mission Completion Effect: Upon finishing a mission impacting an ongoing Trade War, extend the Trade War by 2-4 weeks. For the next 5 weeks, you can sell goods from the opposing faction to the benefited faction without reputation penalty and as though you had a level 4 trade permit.

Name: Crew Checkup Job: Doctor Level: 5 Cooldown: 3 Weeks Type: Deep Space Doctor Skill Check Effect: Upon passing a Doctor skill check in deep space without a saving talent, heal up to two crew members for Doctor skill HP, but not beyond 90 HP. Also gain 30 XP across the crew.
Notes: This is a deep space way to recover from serious operational issues if you're naturally passing doctor checks. But it has serious limits. It only works on a couple crew at a time, and cannot fully heal anyone. You still need to visit a grav facility to get true healing, especially for fighters with max HP well above 100.

Diplomat should get an Intimidate save because there are currently no non-combat Jobs with an Intimidate save.

I back this notion. Not because I do not want to see another Job added but because Diplomats have to be tactfully aggressive. I agree that Intimidate would be in that wheelhouse.

I got an idea:
Military Officer 8
Lawful Examination
Upon defeating an enemy Spy during a Spy War, Duel of Assassins, or Solar War, search the enemy ship's data banks for stolen Intel and enemy secrets.
Essentially a Talent to help military Captains who participate in the more Intel driven conflicts both defend their Faction's secrets and/or steal enemy data.

Unsure on the job here but a CC talent that removes all buffs from a target (on hit only) and deals +10% bonus damage per buff removed would be pretty neat. Perhaps it would have other benefits but that'd be a crucial piece of it.

I feel like Targetted Killing and Parting Gift should be slightly buffed. They seem weaker than the Soldier's Ferocious Crossfire because FC usually kills at least one crewman as well as damaging others.
Maybe Targetted Killing and Parting Gift should have a Quickness% chance to kill a second crewman?

Targeting Lock (Rank 1 Gunner talent) applies -10% armor and -20 escape. This makes it straight-up worse than both Scattershot and Tireless Pursuit.
I think giving Targeting Lock a -15% defense effect as well would make it more balanced and it would be thematically appropriate.

Scattershot is rank 8. Tireless Pursuit is rank 5 and on an officer type Job. It should be worse.
Will look at varying the debuff tho, probably -Defense is better.

Spy talent for replacing a Black Market risk card with an Intel card

Spy talent for replacing a Black Market risk card with an Intel card This would be good. It could be fun as a level 8 talent (they have a ton of 5s and 11s) that gives a good amount of intel (better than the normal Black Market intel card) but with a Government rating-based chance of having an FDF combat with it. (Like 10% chance at 10 Gov't rating I'm thinking.) That drawback could leave you able to have a shorter cooldown and still have it balanced. FDF fights are nasty with high Government and Military ratings and they cost faction rep. It'd give players more reason to consider the Government rating of a zone. If you raise the chance to 20% or 30% at Government = 10, maybe minimize the rep loss, or remove it entirely.

I was thinking more along the lines of stealing intel from criminals, rather than stealing the secrets of the government that would offend the FDF. The Black Market is about criminal connections, after all.

Since the goal of the Black Market is not to play it on repeat for rewards outside of reaching the market, this seems like an odd card to me. Perhaps it could be Market Access + Small Intel Bonus.
