Denounce Their Insolence (Zealot, rank 5) -- Upon destroying an enemy ship, zealous speech grants up to 15 crew 15+Command in Morale
This is a stronger version of the Commander's Loyalty Rousing, but it can only be used if the enemy ship is completely destroyed. The inspiration for this idea came from the Zealot's ability to get +1 ship morale when destroying another ship in ST1.

Do love this idea.

E-tech Rank 5 Overload Conduit -- After a successful boarding, sabotage the enemy ship's power systems, causing an explosion that deals 15+Electronics damage to 3 random enemy crew, and 30+Electronics damage to 3 random components with Electronics soak I'm pretty sure "power conduit exploded" is one of the deep space Electronics test failure results, so it is only fair we can do it intentionally on an enemy ship
Pilot Rank 8 Masterful Accelerations -- Reduces damage caused to your ship and crew from a Meteor Storm in orbit of a system by up to Pilot Skill Sometimes I want to get rid of all my guns/Gunners, but keep 1 of each around so that I can get meteor storm defense. It'd be more convenient if I didn't need Gunners for protection from that rumor event.

Pretty cool there. I'd suggest making the Pilot one a level 11 so it isn't quite as easy to replace Gunners entirely, but still doable.

Salvager talent lvl 15 Name: / Description: Tow a defeated Xeno ship to a templar holding. Price determined by Ship integrity Pretty neat. I'd say there'd need to be a templar planet in the same system but then the rewards would need to be massive for the limited scope. Maybe +rep, +new contact, +money and/or equipment?

Level 11 Navigator Talent: Short Jump Type: Ship Encounter Effect: Perform a short range hyperwarp jump toward your foe. Start combat at distance 2-4. Your ship's engine takes 5-15% damage mitigated by personal Navigation Skill. Burns fuel equal to 1/3 a full hyperwarp jump.
Notes: More Agile Engines will have better odds at starting at distance 2. If the foe's ship's engine is more agile than yours you will almost always start at range 4. You always burn at least 1 fuel from the jump. After adding the talent, a grace period ought to happen. After its expiration, there should be (smaller, boarding focused) enemy ships that begin combat with this talent in play themselves, but only if very hostile.

drspendlove - woah, that is a cool idea. We've talked about different Talents that could start you closer, but this one is ... just so symmetrical I think I'm in love.

Salvager talent lvl 15 Name: / Description: Tow a defeated Xeno ship to a templar holding. Price determined by Ship integrity Interesting concept. Not sure how we'd adjudicate it, as there isn't any towing capability of ships. Maybe just a bonus to scrapping a xeno ship.

That would work. Didn't want to go that simple in the description but that was the basic idea

Isn't there already a talent that lets you "salvage" a Xeno ship for Artifacts? Granted you still need to have a way to turn those artifacts into credits but seems like we already have a few ways to turn Xeno ships into big paydays, not that more ways wouldn't be cool. Just worry that as more talents get added in the overlaps become so great that individual jobs start to lose their uniqueness is all. Could already make a case about several cases of overlapping talents diluting various jobs mostly because they are virtually identical and available at the same level for separate jobs. Sometimes I take advantage of such overlaps but many times I'm left trying to find different talents to replace such overlaps.

Name: Defensive Shunt Type: Ship Combat Job: Mechanic Level: 15 Cooldown: 3 Weeks Effect: Buffs ship with -1 Reactor point, -40% Accuracy, 40% Resistance to component damage, +30 Range Change for 3 turns.
(Component damage resistance stacks multiplicatively. So 2 uses of this stacks to 64% total resistance, not 80%. 3 uses, the theoretical maximum, stacks to 78.4%)
