My Swordsman has only 2 talents 'Sharp Counter' and 'Balanced Blade'. During crew combat, whenever he counters an attack with 'Sharp Counter' he automatically gets the buff of 'Balanced Blade', too. 'Balanced Blade' hasn't been used up to that point of the encounter either. Video of the bug sequence

Yeah, we decided at some point to allow the Swordsman to use his Balanced Blade Talent to counter-attack. That includes the Buff.
It's a cool combo and its greatly to your advantage. If its too confusing, we can just remove it.
It is just a few lines of code to specifically let BB get selected. Easy to pull.

PLEASE don't remove this. I'm planning on writing up strategic details on all Crew Combat skills, and I was hoping to include this information. I've relied on this combo for time immemorial.

I see! From the description I just didn't expect it to use another talent for counters. I thought the counter would be just the standard sword attack. So yeah, if you know about it or stumble upon it, it's really beneficial in combat.

It specifically looks for Balance Blade, if you have it then it is used. Otherwise uses the default attack Talent.

Really glad this topic came up: Depending on the combat round you could end up with, +50% Parry, +25% Blade Accuracy, +10% Armor, +10% Damage, +10% Armor Piercing. This combo keeps these two level(1) talents valuable all the way through level(40). Great job!
