With the patron decision that the Epic Booster should be a 9th hero for Heroes of Steel, we have embarked on a quest to determine that hero's theme. After a lengthy discussion with the community and tons of great suggestions, the field has been narrowed down to 5 options. I did make a few executive decisions to trim this and make sure we are focusing on a concept that fits the healer slot.

Without further delay, here are the options!
Arcane Knight: a mystic warrior of Cassandra, the would be a warrior who combines melee combat and short-ranged magic. The Arcane Knight would include a unique HP Drain ability and likely have the widest variety of weapon choices like Vraes. The Arcane Knight's story may be revealing about the true fate of Cassandra.
Druid: a young Dhrogas and follower of Tevensa, the Druid would be a powerful curse caster including Damage over Time, enemy AP or move reduction and the capstone ability to shapeshift. Many of the Druids abilities could be stylized as momentary summons (a swarm of creatures from nature). The Summoner option from the themes was merged into Druid. The Druid's story may be especially revealing about the Shattering and Tevensa's stage of mind.
Monk: trained in the martial art style of the last surviving members of a monk order that followed Cassandra, the monk is a melee specialist who is fast and versatile. Her abilities would be styled after animals and she would feature buff progressions that gain in power after each kill and end in a surge effect after a certain number of kills. The Monk's story may be revealing about the true fate of Cassandra.
Oracle: a follower of Ellista, the Oracle wields mighty buffs and healing prowess. To offset the power of some of her buffs, they include debuffing aspects. Her healing would come in both flash healing and healing over time auras. The Oracle is in for a rough surprise later in the story when meeting Ellista and learning the other secrets of her followers and her story may be especially revealing about events at this time.
Witch: employing older forms of magic, the witch follows no God or Goddess among the Thirteen. The Witch would employ a powerful mix of curses and debuffing spell attacks including Damage over Time and at least one other new debuff effect. While less powerful of a healer the witch would bring a new level of cursery and offensive magic to the healer slot. The Witch's story may be especially revealing about the elder Gods that came before.
We're trying something new with this poll --
You can vote more than one time! But, if you vote for everything, that means your vote is meaningless
As a reminder -- no work will be done on the 9th Hero until the game's Episode 4 story is complete. We're making progress on that every week, and it has to come first.
