"Your current job makes it impossible for me to pick you up." Now _this_ changes things. Hmmm, The King and McFly aren't interested in driving me either. life has just got harder for the hard working Cyber Knight.

Sounds great.
The new battles that I have seen so far are more fun to fight. And performance is way up. Thank you, I am most pleased with this new release so far.

what do you think of the idea that I will create a new type of "ganger" who is added to your party for escort missions. They're terrible at fighting and move really slowly.
then, escort missions pay way more and taxi's won't ride them.

This new type of ganger wears a blue shirt and is what you are escorting, correct?

I really like the idea. But you need to put the human cargo in some serious armour. Which could be part of the deal -- there is a special 'escort suit' which gives them lots of protection, but makes them excruciatingly slow moving. This means that anybody who goes out in one, who can afford to buy or rent one, must be worth ransoming and thus kidnapping. All very good indeed. Sounds like great fun.
A problem I see in current gameplay mechanics is that all you need to do is train a runner to be godlike in athletics. Then he can run to a place where he can escape from and the whole team gets away. This would sort of defeat the purpose here.

ps -- I think the artwork on the 'Kidnap Me! I am a TARGET!' suit could be hilarious. Imagine them to be so expensive they need to be sponsored by the corps. With corps logos all over, so they look like a combination of the Michelin man and a race car. ;D

Escaping will escape only the escaping character in upcoming releases, the Knight won't be able to Escape he/she is the last one.

The knight won't be able to escape _until_ he or she is the last one, you mean?
That will change tactics around here too. I like it.

i want to add this after we have the ability for the knight to talk his or her way out ... bribes, throw around some rep, connections to the prince ... "Hey I am on a Job here, drek face" etc

Also hopefully you should see a lot of typo fixed as well, we did some internal infrastructure changes to help anyone doing writing on the team -- making it easier to run spell and grammar check on the structures.

I'm thinking about the suit, and liking it more and more. Make it such that you cannot equip *any* weapon. You can bash things -- a bit -- if they come close, but basically a man in such a suit can be carted away as cargo by whoever comes by.
Now as a CyberKnight I actually have a use for such a suit. I put baby runners in one when we go on missions until they have trained enough to be allowed out with a weapon. :-) Which in the case of my hackers, might be _never_.
This sounds like fun to me.

i'm afraid it will probably be more mundane than that.
the various corporate characters that appear in assassinate and kidnap will be worked into other types of jobs like escort and terrorize

I like the idea of being able to bribe, negotiate, threaten your way out of trouble. Giving us a choice of things to say will also make the game a lot more attractive to those who aren't as combat oriented in the first place.
The typo count is way down. And many things that I had on my 'well, I would spell it differently, but I am not sure it is exactly wrong the way it is' have all been changed. 'state-of-the-art' now consistently has hyphens :-)
And I see that 'Refuse to Loose' is now the *Refuse Dumping Co*. GREAT.
But there still is 'Loyalty to the Fennian's' showing up with every Cava Saint conversation. Drop the apostrophe, please.
Did any new weapons make it into this release?
