Is there something that could be done for victorious ground combat teams that had to fight to complete a step in a contacts mission? Rephrasing.. Missions when avoiding ground crew combat is not an option if you want to complete the contract. Combat team enters the ship, dragging one of them barely alive, leaving a wide trail of blood behind. The Chief looks at the injured and says. "Sorry kid. Med ward , and doctors are reserved for ships crew, not ground pounders. Capn's orders". Here's a talent the doctor has when ship combat is victorious.

Interesting thought. I think that should be a new talent for balance reasons but I like it.

It would likely be a new Talent, and we keep looking at this to decide if we should go for it. If we do, it would have to be for more than just Health. Then you'd have a lot of Talents ... and maybe it should be the same Talent.

Then you'd have a lot of Talents ... and maybe it should be the same Talent. For crew combat. Restoring Morale is much preferable to healing HP. It's normal to have several active missions running at the same time. I get that slowed down, sluggish feeling waiting for morale to restore in my combat team. Going into battle with one of the team having 50% or less morale, endangers the entire team right from the first round of combat. Spice leave frequently does not fully restore ground combatant's morale. Urban zone doctors can fully heal the entire crew's health. How about this bump for our ground pounding victors. A new or current talent mod? Re-inserting image for ease of reference. (So you don't have to scroll back up).

Thanks for the post and continuing to look at this. Agreed that ship combat has a lot of great post-victory Talents where crew combat has none. We'll keep working to improve.

I imagine a Ship's Doctor would have more experience treating radiation burns, broken bones, fuel sickness and heavy metal poisoning that are common among ship crew, while a Combat Medic would have more experience treating bullet wounds, bio-poison and lacerations.
