Few questions about mechanics

Let's take component 'Armored Bulkheads 4'. It gives +19% armor. As I understand now, it has nothing with percantage, but, acording to formula from wiki, it just adds around 3.91 armor value to ship armor. I was confused before, because I thought it will increase ship's armor by 19%.

Yeah we're building the interface based on player feedback. Players didn't like the raw data so we display the adjusted value. That is working for the majority of players.

Armored Bulkheads adds 4 points of Armor.

The interface will never be perfect for everyone. That's just how it is with a game with so many play-styles.

Maybe Armor adding components should add "+X% Armor soak" to help avoid confusion?
