There is a starting job for almost every playstyle, but what about the captain who leads with a plunger and screwdriver? The captain who's not afraid of scrubbing out the airlock; the captain who unflinchingly carries out rote fuel transfers?
Obviously this is in high demand, so I don't know why you haven't added this yet.
Because they don't have immediate access to crew combat talents, Crew-dog captains should also get a trait that gives +100% damage, +100% dodge, and +75% critical in crew combat for balance reasons.
