The following two talents don't seem to ever have a use. Have I missed something?
Scavenger level 11: Rescue Mission. While Salvaging at an Orbital, replace a risk with a Mission Success reward card
I have never seen any mission that points you at a salvage. So, there would never be any mission to succeed at. Explorer level 1: Gut Instinct. Automatically passes a failed Explore test in any situation; including Exploration or during a mission
Where does an explore test come from? Other skill saves are useful in the ship log, like if there is an explosion or airlock accident. Explore doesn't happen there. Other skill saves appear in mission steps, where there is a skill check like "tactics plus captain charisma", and you can auto-pass the check. I have never seen one of these for exploration.

Thanks for the feedback!
1. Salvage missions are in the works. 2. Usually Explorer or Salvage or any Mission.

Explorer checks happen pretty often, but only when exploring in my experience. This makes sense to me though.

OK, looking more closely, I have seen skill checks like "explore + charisma" go by when exploring. Explore is just never part of a *choice* you make about which approach to take on a mission step.
