Since she cannot use pistols or rifles, does it make sense that it is possible for her to train firearms?

grävling - that would be a nice UX change to keep players from making mistakes. In the future, runners may also have caps on skills based on their class (like she may not be able to train above 3 Hacking, etc)

A couple of red boxing gloves could be the ideal =)

I'll admit I found her, hired her, and went shopping instantly. The first thing, armor and some stunnas, second thing, cyber the gal up to the gills!
I'm still getting her XP up. Currently thinking a good team is me, her, a sniper, and a gunslinger. Though maybe I don't really need the gunslinger given that the sniper can usually handle all the drones I need handled.

Slide87 - I can work on making sure she has some weapons to start with... weird, she should able to fight with those heavy leather gloves. They suck, but they should be fightable. Glad everyone likes the new runner. She is my favorite... every needs a Cybersword!

Oh yeah, but in fact i thaught that her gloves were weapons ^^ so i took it easy about her equipment =) and instead...she's diedb=) also only enabling her gloves as weapon would be nice =)

I really don't see the joy in limiting the character's ability to raise Firearms

I really don't see the joy in limiting the character's ability to raise Firearms But we're ALL limited to a level of 11, don't we? Some of us just can't excel at certain thing. Like how your sock-puppet couldn't come up with artworks when the game calls for it. ;D

I really don't see the joy in limiting the character's ability to raise Firearms If the runner cannot pick up and use any pistols or rifles, then any training you give your runner in firearms is a complete and uttter waste of time, no? And if, like me, the first thing you do with your runners is to take them to an inn to sleep off the exhaustion and train them with whatever points they start with, then you won't know this is a waste of time until after you have spent points there. Which will annoy you.
