exactly -- and actually if you take careful note your ability to heal is reduced by DV.
At a certain point you may notice that 8 takes longer to reach.

Shouldn't you heal faster with more DV because of less organic parts that need medication?
With more implants, all you honestly need is a good mechanic and a lube job ;D

nope -- you heal less.
I've thought on this -- folks with tons of medical implants and other gear are very expensive and complex to deal with. If you have multiple internal systems that are cybernetic, interlinked, interfaced with your neural system, etc ... it's going to get complex.
There will be software, firmware, hardware, wet ware, neuroware ... what might be a simple eye infection for an un-aug could be a serious problem for your cyber retinal neurointerface

So based on what you're saying, if you're decked out you need to use nano based med kits to heal us faster because of our bodyware, wetware, neuroware etc....
Hmmmm.... Makes sense based on that argument but if that is the case, can hospitals who are knowledgable in cybernetics heal players and runners who are cybered, up to 10 HP instead of 9? With all that high tech gear it should be easy peasy to achieve uber wellness with them.

I think it makes sense for the heavily augmented to find they heal slower by normal means and avg medical care. As nemesis talked about, it also makes sense to find higher tech care that easily takes care of those problems...at a much higher price.

Come to think of it, how about HP & MP gauge image being modified slightly to look better? When I first saw MP Gauge, I thought its max is 10. but it could be more than 10.

Without too much modifications to the gague, for HP, you could have the standard red bottom to top as it is now, and if you have more than 10, then the bottom starts to fill with yellow to the top, for a total of 20. Is it possible to have more than 20? repeat again with green. Without too much modifications to the gague, for MP, you would color the gague dark BLUE instead of green. Then wrap it with with blue, and finally a light blue Also, on the STATUS screen: 'PHYSICAL: ##' [][][][][][][][][][] 'Mental: ##' [][][][][][][][][][]
