After using this talent i got a result with attacked 2 weapons starting at 54% leaving at 54% and 42%->42%. With the talent saying it will do up to 40% + gunnery skill damage. The results seems to point at a bug with this talent. ps. it's my first time posting here. Not sure the screenshot will be uploaded.

From discord this was a misinterpretation on the messaging, not a bug. It might be helpful to display:
Damaged two components, X which was 0% damaged took 54% damage, leaving it 54% damaged. Y which was 0% damaged took 42% damage, leaving it 42% damaged.

The talent if fired, should have damage something. Otherwise it is a waste.

Y which was 0% damaged took 42% damage, leaving it 42% damaged. This would have made it clear without our helpful veterans explaining it to me on Dicsord. As a relative new player this seems something that's easily passed over as a seasoned player. You would casually look at it and know what happened, without having to really read it like a new player would. The discussion on discord was a good example of this. A couple of experienced player offered suggestions. But it took more than a couple to pin point the misinterpretation. So to bring home the argument. If possible, i am sure, this change in wording would help new comers to the game a misinterpertation.

I am sure improving the wording of this would help at least one player. I will put it on the list.
