Life Saving Care Not Working

Playing on Android. Version 3.0.73 During a salvage operation (space hive) I had a crew battle card drawn in which I lost one of my prized fighters. Figured it was fine since I had 2 saving talents of Life Saving Care ready to go. This was not the case as it never activated. So I decided to try again and drew another crew battle card. Lost another crew member. It didn't activate again. I looked at the talent manifest and it doesn't mention salvage, just crew battles but on the talent screen for Doctor it does. Is this right? It sinks because they were among my best fighters

Correct -- those Talents protect against Instant Death events.

As stated in the Talent, "Saves a life during ship combat, blockade, spying, patrol, salvage or black market ..."
