I had 0 packages in my inventory when I woke up at the Super Sonic Inn.
Took a package delivery mission to a place in the Back Bay Slums from Vinny the Rat. In my inventory, I was shown as having 6 packages. (!) Took another mission from Vinny to pick up a package in Old Kenmore. Went to Old Kenmore. Picked up the package. My inventory says 7 packages. Went to the Back Bay. Delivered the package. My inventory says 6 packages. Delivered the Old Kenmore package to the Laughing Dog in the Fenns. My inventory shows no packages. Took another mission to pick up a package at the Old Arcade in the Fenns. Picked up the package. My inventory says 6 packages.
Took another mission to deliver a package to KH. 7 packages. Cancelled that job. 6 packages. Cancelled the first job. 0 packages.
So the bug seems to be that the first package, however you get it, shows up as 6. It behaves like 1, however, and you never end up with an extra dead package.

grävling - any chance at this time you had another item in your inventory with a count of 5? Like... 5 Stims or something?

Yes, exactly. A package stacks with three kinds of Used Medkits and Stolen Packages. Woops! Fixed for next release.

I had used medkits the same size, yes. the to 6 cheap sort you buy from E-street.

Awesome--then you should not have this problem in the next release. They looked so much alike to your CK that they all got sorted into one pile! A box is a box, right?

@cory- 6 Stims is considered too many? Stuff like these save lives! You can't have enough of those! It's like saying you have too much ammo on you. You're not gonna be horrible and implement weight capacity or pocket limits, are you?

No i was talking about the CK that sees all boxes as the same type of thing. Too many stims is the cause of all that blurry vision
