I have a ship (Frontier Liner) with excess officer cabins (6 currently, hull max is 5). When I go to replace one of the excess cabins with another component, the error message reads as if the new component was adding another officer slot, rather than removing an excess slot.
On a related note, it would make more sense to me if the Bridge description also mention it comes with 1 officer quarters (and 3 for scout bridge).
