So when is Star Traders 3 Kickstarter? I wasn’t in the best place in 2014 to donate to the last one, but I’m all for investing in a more modernized sequel - Graphics something comparable to Eve Online. Three dimensional interactions with the void, worlds, crew, and faction contacts would be a great new dynamic to add to enhance the existing mechanics. I know it’s been a long time and hard work getting Frontiers to where it is, but perhaps it’s a thought you may consider after a hiatus.

Cory Trese and fallen would have better info but I don't think there is an ST3 in road map right now. I know CK2 is in dev now and I think Heroes 2 is planned at somepoint. ST3 would likely be years from now.

P.S. the TBs are allergic to ETAs like vampires and garlic

Still cheesed off I missed the CK 2 Kickstarter. Which is what one gets for going awol.

Oh, the things I would do for even just an expansion on the original, or a sequel in the style of the original. I know I may be in the minority here, but there's something about the way it is built that will always keep it in my top spot for favorite TB games.

I suppose if folks wanted to work within the ST:F modification tools enough, a sequel of sorts could be worked out, maybe? I haven't tried it myself.

I think if you try STF, you'd find that is in very many ways - from structure, to Rumors & Conflicts - have a huge number of similarities to ST classic.
