Hello all, been playing this game casually for about 5-6 months and would like to share some ideas on possible additions to the game (if any of these are offered elsewhere on this forum I apologise, I haven’t read every post).
1. I have managed to unlock most of the awards, some without knowing and some by going through 15 different pilots!! it would be easier for me to know which awards I don’t yet have if, when I have achieved an award it be given a tick, or a colour change in the “possible” section ie the “Thousand Suns” text turns Green when I have completed this award at the correct level thus showing me I don’t need to chase this award.
2a. if possible can we have a Smugglers Den in the spice hall, a special sort of black market exchange which only smugglers & pirates can access (thus giving more purpose for that captain type). It could look similar to the normal exchange except you trade banned items for that world, so some planets ban say, animal meat or fur, others don’t allow jewels, etc. you could also add some standard stuff like gold, precious metals, Alien antiques and go as far as offering ship upgrades not found in the ship yard.
2b. Same as above but a Trade Store in the Palace for spy’s and zealot’s (I found these awards rather difficult to achieve so would like some additional stuff added for the accomplishment). Maybe these professions can buy health capsules (vastly cheaper than the doctors rip off prices) or personal armour (upping the health of the character to say 15). You could also offer paid-for-training, i.e. 5,000 credits gets you 1 extra point as a pilot or increases your tactics by 1 point. You could set a limit to how many can be purchased or limit the paid-for-training depending on the planet or faction your on/in.
3. I’d quite like to see an Assassin profession, you could already have a death warrant and military rank for your starting faction. You get special assassination missions not available to other professions and your stealth and intimidate skills would play a big part of your success.
4. It would be nice if, after a set level or a set age/time you could pass some of your knowledge and ship to another starting character which could be your son/daughter when you die or retire. An example would be your character called Dave would “pass on” 60% of his skills and his ship to Dave II (Dave the 2nd) and hold a certain amount of rep for his Fathers faction. If this was applied you could limit Dave II character chooses so he cannot choose a new profession or faction and also gets all the negative rep his Fathers had with other factions.
I’ll stop there so I don’t create an essay length post and I’d like to know what others think of my suggestions without completely flaming them without reason.
