kolesI sleep in Fennians one day and sleep in Mars the next and maybe Bravestar afterwards. When I use hotels I always get some kind of heat reduction but with my safe house I always get "heat is not reduced"  You need safehouses. I tend to buy 3 in Dorchester, and then pop between them. But I have been busy since Easter and haven't played much, I will check and see if the safehouses have stopped working to reduce heat when my new character can afford such things. |

After further research, I believe it does reduce heat but it does not specify how much. Glitch maybe?
I have all the available safehouse and I bounce around alot between factions.

Interesting comments -- I will look into the code. Safehouses and Hotels use the same object so they should function in a nearly identical fashion. I'll post if I find any defects.

As a CK Sniper, I worked first for Streets and picked on Los Val. Then Fennians, Los Val again. Taking messages and packages only- no assassination, capture, blah.
I got to about 1.1k, bought me a German sniper (Sturmwhelgr or something). Then started taking escort missions first from Bravestar Corp until my rep was above 4.
After that, I spammed Aztek Global- they give a whole lotta money for dirty work, but their missions (usually courier) take you over a lot of land and take a lot of time, and you can't use taxis with them. at 30+, got a powerful one-hitter gun, used it as backup.
The rest is just the grinding all over again.

The rest is just the grinding all over again. If you go to Bar of Birds in Aztek, they provide escort missions to Mars so you don't need to walk around the entire map |
