One quick way of getting cash is this routine:
At the Bar of Birds (North Square), get escort jobs to Mars territory. These will be two zones west, in Mars Corp zone, for 1911 nuyen each (with negotiation).
After completion, continue west to Beacon Hill. If necessary, sleep at an inn.
At the Texas Roadhouse (Beacon Hill), get escort jobs to AzTek territory. These will be two zones east, in AzTek Global zone, for 1911 nuyen each (with negotiation).
After completion, continue east to North Square.
If necessary, sleep at an inn.
Repeat.
You get 1911 nuyen for each mission, spend the majority of your time on-mission, and the missions are relatively safe. You spend all your time in four zones. There are enough inns at each end of the route to rotate for heat reduction.
