Psssst, over here...
Take this record to your Captain ... no joke, spacer ... this is the real truth...
Narvidian Carrier H A E S C H T G 50 60 50 100 250 50 100 25
Maneuverability: Low Flight Speed: Extreme (?)
The Narvidian seem to have powerful defenses against the modified missiles we purchase at the Military Base.
The Carrier prefers to sneak attack from behind dead planets and fire the torp-missiles from Long range ... it has a nearly unlimited supply and will usually cripple it's opponents before moving in for the kill.

uuummmmm ... I can see the IP address there, "Lanzo."
You won't make an account for the forum but you'll leak secrets anonymously?

Ha ha haha! Are you serious? This is so funny. Go team Trese! Not so anonymous then.
And thanks for the report, cap'n Lanzo.

What I want to know is how to take over the ship after I have defeated them. I have disabled many Narvidian Carriers in my day, but I have yet to find out how to pilot one after knocking out their engines

There is no surrendering to aliens! They will never take us alive!

The Alien is ravenous for the souls of beings from the dimension of lights.

Having never encountered aliens, here's hoping that the death message is particularly cool when they tear you up both physically and metaphysically.
Also, if you survive an alien encounter (either by running or winning), does your captain get a flag of some sort? I don't know if it's good or bad to run into an alien, but one way or another, it ought to give you some street cred. Pirate more likely to flee, recruiting is a little easier, free rounds of spice once in a while in a friendly spice hall...

And get the title alien slayer when enough aliens are murdered. Then will allow for new missions to protect trade lines from alien assaults

I've only encountered Knife aliens. Twice I think, died once, killed a second. When I first saw the alien ship, I was expecting it to look more organic than a human ship.
Just a thought, but perhaps alien ships could contain a unique resource that can be sold for a high price but kills one crew member per unit taken from the ship.

Wouldn't that unique resource be "alien artifacts?"

Taking artifacts could be better than destroing alien ships for credits. Sounds more logical to me
