Would it be possible to add an additional option to the custom difficulty? I would love to give the option of runners to have an insta-death attached to them if the player wanted. As opposed to them dying, and you heading to the nearest bar to look them up and rehire them, in this case, dead is dead. Would add a whole new strategy to the game. But if they die and you survive the battle, you should have the option of looting their gear, or having it placed back into your inventory since they're obviously not coming back. Only if you utilize the insta-death flag on runners though, otherwise it'd be too unbalanced in my opinion. Whatcha think?

I wasn't aware that dead runners come back, maybe your on lower difficulty than I usually play? Currently when my runners die they stay dead, though you can hire a new one of the same type...and since the names are random you can also get same name.
I'm with ya on getting loot off your dead runners on victory though, we discussed that one a while ago... I imagine its in the works.

I'm actually not much of a team player, so I may be mistaken with them returning. My apologies if I am. Just trying to think of ways to further enhance our awesome experience. Am I crazy for playing the game strictly solo? I know I'm probably making it more difficult on myself based off that aspect alone lol.

Its not impossible to play solo, but with a team you can gain the class bonuses for missions by haveing a variety of runners on your team... but with the added difficulty of keeping them geared up and alive.
If you want the game to challenge you more and take more challenging missions, get a gang of runners.

These days dead runners stay dead and cannot be rehired. But they will use Nano-ready medkits in their nano-aware armour. As for going solo -- it still works, but it takes you longer to advance to the point where you can comfortably pull of jobs in Corps land without support. It depends on what experience you want -- each is difficult in its own ways.

in previous combat system alone CK with taser could handle bunch of corps - but now your max attributes are 9 and enemies wear armors so it will be much much harder.

The streets just keep getting meaner... working on art for new enemies wearing heavier armor.

The streets just keep getting meaner... working on art for new enemies wearing heavier armor. Yeah, used to be I could work my cybersword up to handle almost anything single-handed. The new limits, plus penetration, changes it a lot. I'm looking forward to the new challenge! ;D

fallenIs it possible to have each playable character have different looks? I like the attire of the male archetype but it does get tiresome and doesn't he bathe

We all want more choices for character images and everything else, but remember TB team is 3 guys with families and day jobs....only way to get things faster is to rent a wharehouse, kidnap them, and force them to work at chainsawpoint. So if ya all don't want to go to prison for one of the wierdest crimes of 2012, youl just have to be very patient. ;D

I smell a kickstarter project. That would be interesting, but if you followed it you probably saw hairbraned pull in...err I think over 6 mil for their shadowrun project. Probably not a good time to hit up the cyberpunk fans again right now... but who knows?
