Started a new character since my old character is over the maximums and it wouldn't be as much fun. I quickly decided to start up a team and went gear shopping for them. The cybersword and i are using mt chromers and mt shock gloves. The gunslinger has a pistol and a tazer and that leaves the sniper. I have him using a high powered rifle but i can't find anything in the non lethal department for him. No high velocity gel rifle no game warden style tranq rifle, nothing. Am i looking in the wrong spots in the zone or is he going to have to take down guards of targets only?

To the best of my knowledge, snipers don't have the luxury of having non-lethal ammunition or weapons. Everything in their disposal so far is designed for one shot kills.

No problem buddy ;D One question though, why get a sniper if you don't want lethal damage? Martial artists and cyberswords are the way to go for swipe and grap missions  |

Drones mostly. I wanted some help dropping them quicker than my agent and cybersword can manage. Those 20 Mp make them a little rough to take down.

The non-lethal guns only went live this morning, and no rifles so far. But I suspect we will get some soon. In the meantime make sure you check out the new gear at Remington Arms -- some of it is very interesting for people who want to drop drones in a hurry.
And, I forgot, welcome to the forums.

Thanks grävling. I think that's one shop I haven't hit yet. so far I've been playing solo and mostly as a melee with shock gloves and chromers. I'll definitely be dropping in on remington arms to look for some new toys.

I use rifles myself to take down drones and cannons ;D Those suckers can eat hp rather quickly if you're not careful. Just don't use reifles at near point blank range because enemy def gets pretty big when shooting close. |

I want the ability to hack the drones in the field. If I can't keep them afterwards, then I want temporary allies (that I can hack).
It would be awesome to have them turn on Corp soldiers.

Besides Remington, where else can I find the new gear? This new gear -- nowhere else, as far as I know. Perhaps some VIP room character sells some. But there are new tasers and blasters all over, and hand cannons some places. |

I believe killing drones and animals does not affect your rep or heat as much as killing people, possibly not at all. So I usually use my sniper to pick off the drones while my cyberswords knock out the people.

Even if killing drones and cannons caused heat I would still blast away with my Bokmok. Those suckers mean business ;D

I'd still like some kind of hand weapon made for taking drones down. I doubt high tech is the way to go though. I do think a good solid sledge hammer would make quick work of them and all their delicate high tech machinery.
