Recently the buttons changed for the training of skills. If they are rock bottom levels (it will costs you Q XP in order to train to level Q) they show up in bold text on the button (+1 HAK) for instance, while if you can train, but it will cost you 2Q or 3Q to go up to level Q they will be shown in italics. If you lack the XP to train, the buttons are greyed out.
All of this is very nice, but what I would really like is for the change to be reflected in the previous Screen, in the 'Train Attributes' and 'Train Skills' buttons, where they could list how many attributes or skills you could currently train. This is only a convenience, mostly for high level CK who need lots of XP before they can train anything, and who would be able to see at a glance that they still are short XP and can just check out of the hotel. If the buttons said:
Train Attributes (0) and Train Skills (1)
I could easily see that I have no attributes I can train, and as for the skills -- well that is just hacking, and I don't train that anyway. So just leave the hotel.

Another hotel related change I would like is to get rid of the toasts 'Your heat was reduced by XXX' in favour of a line in the hotel listing, say under the team finances, that says how much your heat was reduced. I keep either not getting the toasts, or getting them so quickly that they don't register.

Traveling, I truly like your gaming philosophies. Spent many a "lifetime" exploring the Bethesda games,,,from early on.

I keep either not getting the toasts, or getting them so quickly that they don't register. Speaking of the heat reduction toast, I'd like to mention again that I usually can't see it. It takes a second or two for the hotel screen to load up. The toast does not appear until the screen is loaded, but the timer for the toast starts as soon as the screen starts to load. So usually the heat toast appears and disappears immediately before I can read it. It would be much better if the timer for the toast started when the toast (and screen) was actually displayed.

I get the toast "Your heat was not reduced " when I use safe houses except that my heat actually was reduced. Error?

I agree with the statements about the heat reduction toast. I almost never see it.

I agree with the statements about the heat reduction toast. I almost never see it. I see the issue ... the sock puppet that added this code doesn't really understand how "Toaster" works ... I will fix!

While you are fixing toasts -- while my usual problem is that they don't last long enough, even though I have 'long notifications' set for all messages, there is one time when I think is lasts too long. And that is the 'No luck locating the runner yet' toast. The problem is, again, with the asynchronous nature of the toast. You press the 'locate runner button', you get the toast, you press the 'locate runner' button again, and again and pretty soon you have no idea whether the toast you are getting is related to your last button pressing or the one before that, or even 2 presses ago. Until you get the message 'Hire this XXX runner for YYY Yen?' and this is immediately superceded by a queued-up button press, ooops, you missed hiring the runner and have to start again.
On reflection, what I would really like is a button that says 'wait for the runner to show up' which you press once. Because that's really all I want to do, but wait around until Keel Cramma and Rika get done with whatever they are doing and hire them again.

There are several fixes coming to back rooms.
Replace the grind-button for locating runners with scheduling system and safehouses / meeting locations.
Add an "Ask Around" button to augment Listen that allows the player to ask about a specific category of shadow contact -- "I need to talk to someone about some contractors..." or "I am looking to speak with the local purveyor of illegal weapons, wink wink, nudge nudge"

Thank you.

So I ask -- what should be higher priority? "Ask Around" or fixing the toasts?

I'd prioritise 'Ask Around' over fixing the toasts, and fixing the experience buttons over both.

I'd prioritise 'Ask Around' over fixing the toasts, and fixing the experience buttons over both. I don't know what "fixing the experience buttons" means. Are you referring to the enhancement suggestion you made about estimating raises in the hotel screen?
