There are some reliable taxi drivers out there .... you just need to find, or be given their V-chips.

I hope they do add in the ability to buy wheels when they launch story mode ;D

Maybe such things could be added as V-Chips.
You "call" your car or bike and get to go somewhere much faster than before, they could still cost you to move around like taxis, but cost an initial fee of ¥300 grand + just to get the chip.
No spriteing needed, just a bike/car picture for the chip.
Oh yeah, no time delay for calling again. ;D

I like your idea on how we can implement personal transportation in the game. Buy it like any item but it functionally works like a taxi without the excuses for being busy or afraid of heat

But it needs to have a downside, aside from being expensive. Maybe you crash the thing from time to time and end up needing lots of medical attention?

If you need medical attention from occasional crashes I would kill my driver ;D Maybe maintenance fees to repair the car is a better option.

I was assuming we were driving the things ourselves. And at the rate I pop stims, I wouldn't be a very safe driver ...

Possible Risks for Personal Vehicles:
- Sector Rumors could block differently than taxi - Special Encounter Types that Risk Vehicle Destruction/Theft - Fuel Is Crazy Expensive - Can Break Down, Require Mechanic Contacts to Fix - Expensive to Purchase - Rare - Disliked in Corporate Zones

I'd actually like a plain, non-electric bicycle for getting around faster. Same as what I use today, actually.

Isn't a car a status symbol signifying our rank within the organization. Envy maybe but disliked?
