rabidbite - the spreadsheet has revision history ... so we could find the point at which it was sabotaged and roll it back? Cool! Didn't know that. Much easier that way. Tell me when you get that done so I can add the corrected spreadsheet link to the Q/A. rabid

rabidbite - you have to go into File > Revision History and then you can browse the revision. Every little change can make a revision, so an editing session can be seriously hard to untangle in there. It took me a while, but I eventually found the first revision in which the weapon's tab seems correct is "May 23, 6:54 PM ET" That is a looong time ago. I don't feel comfortable reverting the sheet without someone else (you?) looking at it and deciding if that is okay. It may be possible to merge parts of the current sheet with the historical sheet if its needed.

Seems I got to log in as an user to see those options.
Anyways, set the spreadsheet back. Better to have SOME information than no information.

Sorry to say, but I think it would be better to start over, things like the Slam Dancer having ammo type auto make me question whether the data viewed is correct at all. Very likely could be a person sorted a column instead of the whole Spreadsheet and mixed everything up at some point. Having a single person with edit control (everyone else can view) and sending him proposed additions would be more cumbersome, but would avoid the data accuracy doubt.
Or Cory could just dump those portions of the data (as he has apparently offered to?) which is a little less interesting from a community standpoint, but gives the accuracy you'd want.

Um, heh, I meant "I reverted the spreadsheet back" we reverted twice? Is that like a double negative? Probably end up in a Paradox spreadsheet editing time loop where the world is sucked into a morass of mathematical functions and spacing commands. Oh wait, that's my life rabid

Holy crap that spreadsheet was horribly outdated.
So guys, I just spent most of the last day updating the reference sheet. Weapons, Armor, Equipment and Implants are all current, and should be mostly accurate now. (I don't pretend to not make mistakes) However, my character is on perma-death settings and Mars sends a hit squad at me every time I take three steps, so I haven't been able to update any of those regions. Also, I couldn't for the life of me figure out where you were getting the costs of the items; I tried every setting I could and couldn't reproduce the same numbers. So I just left the cost as ?? for every entry I added. (plus I play on good economy setting so that wouldn't be so useful anyway)
Anyway, if anyone else wants to chip in and help me finish I'd appreciate it. I think the only things left are Mars region data, and possibly any backroom dealers as well. (I don't have full rep with all factions) I added a column for noting whether the line has been verified for temporary note-taking purposes, (green = verified) which should help somewhat.
Tomorrow I'm planning on doing a pass through the weapons sheet; most of it is good, but the ammo types are all over the place, which is a real shame because weapon type is one of the most useful ways to index on the sheet.
Anyway, I've been staring at the computer for too long over this. Splitting headache. Night all.

eldistan - thanks for all the updates. Prices are going to be vary wildly and will be hard to track down ... Difficulty + Negotiation ...

Is there a formula for it involving a base value? Because if there was it would be easy to change price to base, put a field in the sheet indicating your difficulty, and then have a calculated price field for what you should be seeing.

What's the new/current link for the spreadsheet? The one on the first page is horrendous for implants. I just recently worked up a new copy myself prices are default (current negotiations has the in-game prices at almost 50%, so some are guestimated, but seem pretty on as I don't have the cyber-files to verify)
One thing I've noticed with the implants at least... outside of a very few of the higher-level implant-shops, they are pretty generic all around. For example: Back Bay Mission, Alchemical Devices Incorporated, Good Samaritan Hospital, Frontline Medical Supply, Doctor Dave and Summer Street Pharmacy all carry the EXACT same items at the EXACT same levels. And the same are duplicated between many others.
2) There's an implant or two like the cyber weapons in particular that don't really seem to bother with much of a change between Rating 1 and Rating 2. ie: Hand Blades / Hand Razors (rating 1 and 2 respectively) are both the exact same 'bonus' of 'adds automatic weapons' But the Rating 3 version (Combat Blades) actually adds in +1 Brawling). Unless the Razors actually do more damage/better penetration (I haven't done the implants so I can't speak to actual weapon 'stats'), then why would anyone bother with the Rating 2 version?

I have finished editing the weapons sheet other than the MNB tunnels. I will get to that soon, I hope.

Swami +1 for your work on this. As I get more chances, I'll exalt others. So far I've been playing by "feeling" and not looking at all the resources on the forum just yet. But I knew I had seen an implant somewhere and no I can't find it, so I thought I would give this sheet a look. Awesome work here everyone!
I did find that the implant sheet seems to have a large chunk of the data missing. It's like somebody deleted a lot of the names, DV, Cost and Descriptions for a bunch of the entries. Locations are still listed though so it seems like the data was there at some point. Couldn't seem to see the changes in the revision history to reverse them.
