What a difference (half) a year makes!

Greetings Trese Bros and fellow forum members,

I purchased CK:Elite in the fall and loved the game. Well in December my son was born so all gaming, even mobile was out the window. Now that I have a happy, healthy 6 month old I have had more time to enjoy some of my hobbies like gaming.

I got a new phone and was going through my purchased apps and found this gem. Wow! is this a whole new game or what?

I just want to apologize to Cory and Andrew because the fact that I only paid $2 for this game should be illegal.

So now that I am back noobing it up, a question. I see that some gangs have ladders with rewards like Los V.

How do I advance? I only have the original connector and I am told to find Side-Arm Gerrin but when I went to the Den all I got was the contact for Kass, who wants paydata.

Problem is this, my Knight is a purist and doesn't mess around with that implant drek. Is there any way to advance without me drilling wires into my skull so I can jack into the matrix?

Side Arm Gerin hasn't been coded yet -- or if coded not released to the game. Kass is the one you need to meet and try to impress. Do lots of nice things for Los V. I suggest working out of Tuckmore's and find Vinny the Rat's chip and then do plenty of work for him, as well. Periodically call up Kass, say 'Let's talk'. and see if she will promote you. Note that there is another way to get KH paydata -- no cranial implants required. Just shoot the hell out of anybody you encounter in KH zones and then loot the corpses. They will drop KH paydata chips reasonably often.

ALso note that shooting the hell out of KH encounters is not an exercise for baby CKs, because KH have large grey drones which are very hard to kill. (The shocklances, on the other hand, are quite easy as long as you have a blaster gun, a taser, or a shock glove which deals mental damage). And you have to be able to use the thing reasonably well. Blue shock gloves are rather easy to use, and are effective with even terrible brawling skills, but to use a Blaster gun you need to train your firearms 'more than somewhat'.

Graveling is giving you good advice but may I add that while its true that meat sacks drop paydata chips,unless you want to kill everything in the NBZ you should just bite the bullet and get an implant and help yourself to all the nice free paydata on the global matrix.while not as easy as it once was(thanks Cory) its the fastest way to get rich.
