damn i still didnt see it even i played about 5-6 hours
time to check without hardened armor...

I only saw it after I got my StealthTek Hardened Armour. And then only once. When 7.7 came out I was seeing it all the time, with and without armour so it looks like something changed between releases which greatly decreased the number of times the toxic nanopollution went for your eyes.

The Order of Protection Is:
1. Luck
2. Skill
3. Gear
4. Cyber
So if you have higher skills now than previous versions you're going to see the messages less.

I have a brand new cyberknight and she isn't seeing the 'eyeballs being eaten' message as often as her dead elder sister who began life when 7.07 was released did.

yes, same plan of attack, make money by taking contracts out of Spencer Street Butchers for Streets, branch into the assasination business for Cognac Brawn when she gets a little more experienced. Stay out of Corpsland, BS land and periodically do jobs for Los V and the Yakuza to keep them from hating you -- or hating you so much.

I will double check to see if I can explain it. Each one is a different encounter type, and the zones and rep combinations cause a list of encounter_types so there may be some easy statistical explanation for why you see less Toxic_Eyes than Toxic_Air or Toxic_Water.

What I am seeing is a lot of 'your hardened armour protects you from runoff' and 'partially protects you from nanopollution' -- whichever 2 those are.
