Before the release of nano working armor, I'm assuming runner life expectancy was very low. Now with Kraken Suits and other nano armors available they can survive longer and be better trained during missions. After following grav's suggestions to focus on jobs in Tuckmore's Salon in Roxbury Crossing and Yakuza Gambling Den in Copley Square, I was able to build my uber martial artist, Snake-Flash (Unfortunately, Cibi, my other martial artist croaked when the medkit situation got switched ) ;D I was stoked to have built my perfect runner with 1672 XP spent on stats and skills, but I was saddened to find out that I would need to shell out approx 17k to get his services What is the current runner xp spent ratio to price increase and can we reduce the price now that they can live longer? For me to get back my expense for one uber runner will take around 7-8 assassination or kidnap missions worth 2k+ for each mission and the economics of hiring them after all that work training them, does not seem worth it in the long haul

The ratio won't be changed, however, upcoming releases will give you the chance to convert that Runner into a Buddy/Ally once they hit certain survival/xp thresholds

Going from hired help to allies will be good. Will the costs of no longer having to pay salary be offset by them taking a percent of the take on a run?

Also, will you add a global variable to track fame/infamy/popularity? Such that will be affected by how well team members are treated ($, karma, gear, ..) as well as their life expectancy for being a team member?

I have a few runners who are almost maxed out in skills and attributes. I’m paying over 25K for one. Will the cost formula continue to use XP that cannot be used for further training?

Permant allies? That would be a good look, since the streets of nbz can be unforgiving the majority of the times. It's a shame how security corps. Send so many soldiers/robots after a lonely guy(or girl) walking down the street minding their own business.

That's because there are nightmares and then there is you. You are what Chuck Norris has nightmares of. From a Political or Corporate Mandate and PR standpoint: you are Jason Bourne. They knew it going into it, and if you work for an enemy, you have become an enemy. Worse, you could and potentially do have confidential and sensitive information that is power to someone else. Never underestimate the fear factor of others. Fear does amazing things to humans. The 1% refuses to ( and doesn't really have to) get their hands dirty. They subcontract out to agents they can buy. Agents with no real bias but ¥¥¥. Others get jealous of your sudden rise in the ranks...but other Interested Parties (read as Factions) will also notice. Especially if they have. already had you in their employ previously. This game also pulls off the harshness factor of the genre succinctly. You have the choice to 'trust' allies with your life in combat, strangers with your wounds, and wackos with your füd. It would be very nice to actually have people you could truly trust on a more regular basis. The streets keep getting meaner, and survival solo is rougher than ever before.
[[ That being said, I usually run Solo. Sometimes I forget who I hired, when, and how much longer their contract has before expiration. These are details I probably should be taking a closer log of, but when you are doing 6 jobs at a time; all that hopping about will lose people. But that legacy Hacker can handle anyone in melee, and moves fast enough to close gaps to keep it that way. ]]
