Then could something -- your political officer, perhaps, poll the world at frequent enough intervals so that he could report -- Great News, Captain. X and Y are no longer at war. Trade Embargo ended! ?

Then could something -- your political officer, perhaps, poll the world at frequent enough intervals so that he could report -- Great News, Captain. X and Y are no longer at war. Trade Embargo ended! ? That would cost us some performance and we're highly concerned about performance. The way the conflict system works there is no easy way -- the conflict state table changes and the game is blind. The political officer doesn't maintain a list of the previous set of conflicts so they can't poll it for differences. Sorry

I did get a "Massive Radiation Storm in Deep Space" or someting like that as I landed on Cadar Pavonis. Everyone, happily, was still alive. I can't remember if it affected my ship when I left the planet as well or not. It was on Demanding level, I think.

That looks more psychotic than rabid, honestly, but it's still an insane rabbit.
I'm tired of customizing sigs every time I flash a ROM. This time it's plain old Torp City!

The only issue I have are the incredible amount of encounters. Is it just me or is it too encounter heavy? I would like it to be a bit more balanced IMHO. Ensign Morgan stared at the breaching pod that had pierced through the Imperator's hull. Painted in bright white letters across the pod's surface was the somewhat disturbing message: 'If you're reading this, you're SO fucked'. Even as the whistling sound of atmosphere picked up, Morgan scrambled away trying to get to another compartment before the pressure dropped so far that the compartment locked down. The pod's iris whirled open. Out stepped armored individuals in slashed together pieces of armor; a Templar shoulder pad here, a Steel Song metal boot there. The first to step in was a large brute of a man with a plasma cannon so large its muzzle was bigger than the diameter of a bowling ball. He was closely followed by a chainsaw wielding Jason Hockey masked man with a white rabbit logo on his shoulder pads. Other boarders followed. The group stopped in confusion looking about at the Cadar markings on the hallway wall. The hockey masked armored figure tilted his head this way and that way as he looked at the script, "Hmm. Hey Bonnie. Aren't we supposed to be attacking an independent carrier?" The larger armored man scratched the top of his armor. A rough voice grunted, "Doesn't look too independent to me. This must be a freaking Cadar chameleon ship. Son of a gun!" Rabid rabbit mournfully shook his head, "Or we got the wrong vessel. There are just too many darn ships around here. You'd think things would be a little less hectic out here." The two men looked at each other, "Well you know.." started the bigger one. "... since we're already here.." replied the shorter one. The chainsaw ramped up, "No one is going to begrudge us a simple mistake. Besides, I admit Bowie, I have a certain morbid curiosity to see just how other Cadar shape up when I gut them." The larger man shrugged helplessly, "I bet we're going to loose a trade permit over this." rabid

Hey, does this mean I helped inspire an epic ST saga? I'm tired of customizing sigs every time I flash a ROM. This time it's plain old Torp City! Hmm. I am not sure. Rabid Rabbit is a fun distraction for me. I like to use him to describe situations within the ST universe, and because some people have insisted on it, I've started a thread with a longer, though more complex, weaving of a Rabid Rabbit adventure. Though people might not like the fact that Rabid Rabbit is not a good guy, he's a psychopathic monster ... a little like the Joker; fun but ... really evil. Some of your words helped me flesh out the idea behind the Rabid Rabbit character if that's what you mean Rabid

Now Rabid Rabbit is a fun distraction for _all of us_. Thank you so much. I have a suggestion, though. If in all the Rabid Rabbit episodes you put a line -- perhaps 'A Rabid Rabbit Episode' -- somewhere in the post, it will make it easier for newcomers to these boards to search for and find them. Having read one, you just naturally will want to read the rest.

Any way at all to address the problem with trade bans starting the moment of trading, and creating a rep penalty? Im fairly certain ive seen this happen. Can this be fixed or is it intended?
What im talking about is a situation in which you check to see if an exchanges faction is involved in a ban, and the game time that passes between changing from the conflicts menu to the exchange activates a ban.

If you are on Android, no. This is false. Game time does not pass between changing the conflicts menu to the exchange activities. In fact, that is impossible and if it did somehow occur (sunspots?) the game would actually crash -- I just tested it by attaching a debugger and injecting a conflict. The Android OS crashes due to an internal consistency error in the data. Sorry to be blunt, but no, this does not happen. If it does, we don't support your device and I can only offer you a refund. If you are on iOS, it seems highly unlikely (also triggers a crash when I tested it) however ... we have 1,000 times more users on Android so if there is an iOS bug it is less likely I'd have gotten a hundred e-mails about it by now.
