I have just two comments:

1) The story is great. The twists are nice and it really keeps me wanting more. Thanks for that, it is something what was really missing here!

2) Would not people walking in vacuum with magnetic boots hear others walking though the ship's hull? It should carry the sound, should not it?

3) You have renamed the poor dead pirate in the last post

Oh, that is actually three . Keep writing, you are very good at it. Are you not a professional writer?

I think I have moved them all now. The old posts are there in this thread, but at the time they were sent, not, as I expcted at the end of this thread.

This means that this note that I am quoting, which ought to be the first in the thread, is now the 3rd, I think.

rabidbite, let me know if this is a good enough fix. If not, I will have to take a look and see what I can do with respect to changing post dates, etc.

My question is what do you want to do with rabid rabbit posts that aren't in the odd advertures note? I.e. that brilliant 'they shot the kitchen sink' post?

It would be good if those were collected somewhere. On the other hand, if I remove them from the threads that hold them, well, the context is lost and the threads themselves lose something important. I am thinking about quoting these things, as would make a posting by me, and then moving the quoted thing to a new thread. This would keep the originals where they belong, at the risk of having the new think that *I* was the author. Maybe a proper disclaimer would work. Maybe a link to the original thread would be desirable.

What do people want?

Those would have to be REALLY loud footsteps. Usually in movies the sound is exaggerated so the audience can understand the people are using magnetic boots. When have you ever heard a magnet make really loud noises, besides maybe an MRI machine? I think tech has evolved too far for that, so no, you might feel vibrations but not the sound.

Heck, I've made a ton of of mistakes. Every time I re-read the thread I find something that is so blatantly air-headed that I shake my head. For example: Did you notice the man Jenon ended up as Genon in later posts? Been slowly fixing that doozie.

I think that the ones linked to the thread subject are fine where they are. I especially like the "Ram" and "Quadrant politics". But linking to the posts would also be nice.

Just to state, NOTHING, I put on the Rabbit stories are canon. For all I know Cory has his own view of things and plans to do something about it later.

I continue to re-read the thread and correct mistakes. I always find at least one.

I still got a couple of twists in mind for the Rabid Rabbit series and hope to spring them on you soon.

Hmm, been re-reading the entire Odd adventures. There are places were the pacing just feels off and disjointed. I'll have to devote some time to them.

Oh? ST universe doesn't have hockey? I thought that hockey was an odd enough game to probably make it into the universe itself. I can 'remove' the JASON part, but I feel the hockey mask has to stay.

To me a symbol of insanity, which is why I use it. The wearing of the mask signifies a ... shift ... from bloody maniac to total psychosis kill everything that moves and let the dice fall where they fall.

When Rabid Rabbit puts on the mask it, generally, means "I'm doing this, no matter what."

Plus I do like Friday the 13th

Besides fixing mistakes and polishing what's already written. The first part of Rabid Rabbit adventures is over. I wanted to write this small story to provide a rather generalized picture of the Star Traders world; as I see it.



Questions to answer on 2nd and subsequent parts, if I ever get to it: What did Graline find? Who are the Rabbits? Are there more? What happened to the rest of humanity? Why are the Narvidians still around? Why does the Alien hate humanity so much? Where is the Templar Navy?
