How about a Mechanic Class, I have seen repair shuttles a lot is this game and often wondered what their for or do. Here is how this class might work, 1: When you would patrol a sector of space you could look for ships that need fixing and charge them for repairs or you could gets repair contracts that send where you need to be. 2: Having a mechanic officer would give you a bonus to how well you can make repairs or how much you can charge. 3: Instead of money for payment, you would get a + faction rep bonus. This could also be set up that when there is a solar war a - faction rep bonus for helping the enemy. 4: Repair ships could have a towing beam to take damaged ships to the nearest planet. Just a thought here, this game is already so cool that at times it seems there is no way to make it better
