Okay so I have a Tiberia Jammer I'm upgrading. It's a Fast/Quick ship with 52 engines and 52 sails already. Only has 18 guns and 12 torpedoes though. My 20th level insane bounty hunter will be using it for contract work. Should I get the Prow Guns or the Titan Engines, or skip both and get the cargo pod since I'm getting the Extended Gun deck?
Also what about the choice between Battleship Architecture and Advanced Bridge? Ship has 80 crew as is and I'd rather carve up my targets with missiles and guns than board with this Captain.

These are all oppinion questions. Here are my oppinions
Pilot/Engines are more important than guns. High pilot is MUCH better, for gunning alone, than high guns. Therfor get the titan components.
Although guns and torps have the benefit of causing damage to your opponent without causing damage to yourself, boarding is more reliable. The sucess rate is much higher. Also, some fast/quick ships you won't be able to gun or torp, but you'll be able to board them. Therfor go for battleship.
Ramming and boarding are alwayes a problem, as they're much higher risk than being torped and gunned.
For board - high warrior/strength + crew numbers + weapons. Tactics, Intimidate, Stealth, upgrades, officers all help in different areas, but aren't nearly as important as warrior strength crew numbers and weapons. Also, if you're at close range and the enemy Is a lot higher lv than you and you feel he's going t board you and you won't be able to repel him, press board. You boarding is better than them boarding you.
For ram - you have 2 choices. Choie 1:Invest A LOT in Pilot so enemies can't ever ram you (This is my strategy). Choice 2: Get armor upgrades (hyperion, dreadnought) so you can soak up more damage when rammed. Having a quick ship and getting a pilot officer and carrying spice both help for resistng ram, and both are ESSENTIAL for surviving in higher difficulties (impossible especally). All my high-level captains have died by board or ram. Your captain will die of the same fate once at a higher level 9 times out of 10.
Get A pilot officer and cary spice for guns, ram. And have fast ship. And have high pilot + tactics. Get a Military Officer and carry weapons for board. And have high warrior/strength Have a quick ship for torps. And have high Stealth + Pilot. (Don't invest too uch in stealth because its worth twice as much as other skills for leveling up, which is bad.)
