Anyone who got Star Traders RPG Elite as a "Free App of the Day" wants to post some feedback?
Very curious how you feel about the game, if you made it to the forum, etc.

It was like a week ago ... 12,000 people downloaded ST Elite for free! They've been e-mailing me like CRAZY but it doesn't seem like they're on the forum  Anyone? Amazon people??? |

If you consider having to wait days for updates instead of minutes as being lucky. Not a fan of the Amazon app store for more reasons than just that, however.

Oh I'm lucky that i got this wonderful game.
I'm playing it during my train travelling. But how is it possible to survive more difficulty levels? Well, I'll find it out.
Now as I know that game, i even would pay for it ;D

I got to level 50 on Impossible yesterday, Cadar Military Officer. Torping fanatical contract killer. They key to survival on higher difficulty levels is to master the lower difficulty levels first. To survive long term on Impossible your best bet is to be skilled with all of the systems in the game -- from using Conflicts to Rumors, Contracts to Trade and maximize your advantage by responding to all of the game's events. There are constant advantages and to play on Impossible your best bet is to capitalize on every one of them |

Definitely use the lower levels as your learning curve. Too many people leap into the game thinking it's something that you can pick up on the fly. They die frequently (and messily), then give up on the game as "too hard" or "pointless".
If you learn the basics on Basic or Normal, you can experiment and take risks that will teach you things for that next step up to Demanding or Crazy.
The rough order for learning things for me is:
Factions (Reputation) and Factional Conflicts
Contracts
Trading
Rumors
Ships, ship types, and the value of storing ships in star docks
Caches
Planet differences (where to find the best ships, where to find the cheapest prices)
I've probably missed out on lots of little things, but that's the great thing about this game. It's so deep that you can spend months discovering the different layers. With other games (both iphone/pad and android), I find that after a month, I've done everything I'd ever want to do in it.

The DeValtos make you an offer you cant refuse. The Cadar stand on you bridge hitting the tip of a torp with a hammer untill you give in.
