Sergeant kantos warily followed the captain and the rest of his squad. As a templar he had been trained to fear nothing but there are thing in this world that will strike fear into a man's heart no matter who he is. He could hear the buzzing of his suits generator, he thought for a moments and gave a slight chukle, as far back as he could remember that sound always made him feel safe. It reminded him there was still somthing protecting him from the horrors that lay wait. Brother kantos, what are your thoughts on this mission? Kantos jumped from the the sudden noise. For a moment he did not recognize the voice then he realized, it was his life long friend pasgenus. I try not to speculate my friend, it brings back luck. Pasgenus laughed and continued walking. He had known kantos for a long time and even though kantos seemed calm , he knew there was somthing troubling him. Bad luck he thought to himself, ha as if we even had a chance of good luck. ... to be continued

As Kantos followed his squad deeper and deeper into the darkness he couldnt shake the felling that somthing was watching him. The sound of the heavy footsteps played games with his nerves every one making him more and more on edge. Defend and purge Defend and purge. Thats what they tell us at training, thats our duty. but why then after 20 years of this am i not used to it? why cant i just block out these thoughts? It didnt matter, he was here and there was once again. no turning back. All of a sudden the Captain talos stopped, as did Kantos's heart, he quickly looked at his motion sensor. There it was, a single yellow dot. Yellow he thought to himself. but there werent supposed to be any one still alive on this ship. Hey pasgenus! you see'in this? yeah he replied just as shocked. think its just a glitch? could be, but kantos knew he was wrong these things never glitched. Cut the chatter! captain talos's voice crackeled over his comms. it was totally dark, kantos's night vison could barley counter it. this op already wasnt ideal now they had this to deal with. woah!, he heard pasgenus say, What? what happened? look at your display. as he did the hairs on his neck stood straight up. the single yellow dot had grown to over 30. these werent friendlys, this was some new enemy. as he looked up he saw a slight shimmer then it was gone. he wondered what it was. but he found out far to soon. the templar infront of him was dead. he no one else knew it yet but kantos could just feel it. he was right the man in front of him feel to his knees 5 seconds later. he heard a slight gasp over the comms, then the templars head fell onto the floor. shocked kantos fell like a child, wanting help but to afraid to say anything. he yelled over the comms in a hoarse voice, Captain man down! man down! as talos turned to look he was just as shocked as kantos. what happened! he shouted. kantos was the only one to reply, i dont know sir. what do you mean he was standing right infront of you! i dont know what i saw sir, there was just a shimmer of light and then he dropped. talos stood in front of kantos for a moment then finally spoke, we move on. captain pasgenus yelled those yellow dots arent friendly lets just leave. talos was about to speak when he noticed every single dot has disappeared. slowly the rest of the templars noticed this aswell. the fear in everyones mind was quite obvious. We push on TEMPLAR talos said once again. No one wanted to continue but they had to. this was thier duty. for over an hour the comms were silent, then finally the captains voice came over. were coming up on the armoury, We'll set up a safe house here and take a rest, try to figure out what the hell is going on. pasgenus spoke up, looks like a little speculation might of helped here huh kantos. or maybe it would have made it worse he replied. to be continued...

Hey guys I'm finally back after a long exodus, I'm planning on continuing this story and hope to have the next part out this week. Safe travels captains.
