If I had one I would suggest that Made Not Born only allow you to play on Easy Difficulty. I disagree on this one, that would really make it less fun. I had a great time playing it on Brutal. Man, I was on edge! At any moment, I could get set back major hours of play. It is not only a tutorial. It is also a story with a lot of unique challenges and story happening. So, limiting it to Easy really reduces its overall fun imho. Also, keep in mind that after any of the 4 endings that are possible in the story, you always end up in the NBZ Sandbox again. So, I really would want my character who survived to have the unique gifts, and the unique Runners, and be in Sandbox. It would be sad to have all that awesome, and but stuck on Easy! Ok, I am just starting as you see. I just think that people get in trouble in this game by starting on too high a difficulty. Then they send Cory mail saying that they are expert game players and obviously the game is too hard. I just thought we might be in a position to avoid this hassle....

This would go into discuss rather than bugs if we had one.
I find it interesting that Max Mercer wants the new char in armour as soon as possible. I have always considered cheap armour a total waste of money. I wouldn't waste 350 clams on armour -- anything under 900K I think is money you should be saving.
Or spending on a better weapon. My poor Sniper has a Scout CarboMag, my candidate for most worthless weapon in the NBZ. He'd be better off using his fists.

Actually, I believe that "Made, Not Born" should be as gravling suggested. Why?
1) It DOES say that it's a Tutorial. 2) Like gravling pointed out, this would help deter all those "waaah waaah, I'm l33t but I want my mummy and my $2 back" players. 3) Most importantly, I believe that this is only the 1st story. There will be more coming up soon. And those would have their own difficulty levels set in as default as well. ;D

grävling / blackgauntlet - sorry, we will not restrict the difficulties available for the story. Please keep playing, because its pretty sizable story with a lot of unique rewards. Personally, when my team was done and I had the two unique Runners in the NBZ, plus a normal martial artist I trained up and geared to survive the last fights ... I would have been really peeved to not have had a challenge and only played on Easy and to not -continue- the story of the Knight I had spent 10 hours living. Overall, people having issues with the difficulty of the game is down, we get more complaints about the UI and general confusion these days.

If you go to Heaven's Pharma looking for Whitey, and don't immediately pay the 100 credits to Heaven, you have to exit the store and re-enter in order to get the conversational option to pay it again.
Then when you select to pay it, she gives you the information first, and then you fork over the cash. It wouldn't work that way. She needs to see the cash first or else she won't talk, because what's to stop you from leaving without paying?

When you finish the shady quest you return to the normal area. However you still have a option at taxi to go back to the shady area. If you go to the area again your character is then stuck and cannot leave as their is no taxi or way out, which is where my character is now sitting

When Doing Flynn's Training the rewards for message delivery are higher then when you start doing package delivery. Since he starts you out on what you'd think is lowest level shouldn't this be reversed? Message deliver maybe giving around 70-80 creds each time then package delivery going for around 150-200 or so depending of course on negotation skills.

malekar - if you are willing to wait, I can fix that for the next release so you can escape the area. @team - thanks for all the great feedback! I will try to respond to individual posts from people with quotes as we fix these bugs / implement these suggestions.

koles - thanks, malekar reported that a few posts earlier. In the next update (not the current one) I will remove the issue with the ability to get back there when you shouldn't and also add an escape door for any characters stuck in that hell. -Sorry!!!-
