At Tunnel Guns when you get the weapon walkthrough, mention that the Blasta gun doesn't kill. And that effect on heat.

I'm ready for this behind the scenes run.
I'd put 'behind the scenes' in an italic font. And prepend Mallor: else you might think you were talking to Holly again.

I walked into a Vault Patrol trap.
You need to put a cutscene here, or something. The map goes black, and it waits for a very, very, very long time. I thought that I was going to have to forceclose my way out of it, it took so long I was sure I had a bug and not just a long thing loading.

Could we add all exits as paths on the nav. I'm pretty sure the computer if it can figure out what each building is, can also determine where each exit is located?
Also when you wake up from clinic it says God-Damn could we change that to maybe My Head is killing me or something like that?

When you first call Luka after she states your alive she starts with "Glad to see that." Shouldn't it be more along the lines of "Glad to see you made it out of there."

@team - thanks for all the great feedback! I will try to respond to individual posts from people with quotes as we fix these bugs / implement these suggestions.
One statement: this is a tutorial for the core concepts of Cyber Knights. I am not planning to make an exhaustive walk through of every nob and whistle. Mostly, what you guys are posting is great veteran knowledge people should know (no XP when Exhausted, what is Dodge, etc), but we aren't going to mention every single fact, else it will become really cumbersome information overload.
Thanks again!

I think that you seriously under-estimate the hunger to understand how to play the game if you think that information overload is a bad problem. It's information underload that is frustrating.

The scary thing about this game that you could play on a mobile phone, is that the manual would be the size of a D20 Modern Core Rule Book and the walkthrough would have about the same number of words as the Lord of The Rings trilogy... combined.

Ooh! Forgot about my suggestion and can't believe no one had suggested it earlier...
Cyber-Arena Cage Fights!
Similar to job ladders, we have match fixers to throw boxers into the ring. Usually one-on-one but the higher tiers might have some mixes.
Tier 1: 1 Vs. 1 against Street Thug Tier 2: 1 Vs. 1 against Throgger Tier 3: 1 Vs. 1 against Warhund So on and so forth... Tier 19: 1 Vs. 10 against CyberNinjas Tier 20 (Championship): 1 Vs. 1 against Tyra "Iron Behemoth" Durden
And for gun-nuts, Cyber-Olympics Rifle Event!
Also, as above, but scores are calculated in the number of rounds you could end the "fight". Tier 1: Destroy 1 static drone Tier 2: Destroy 1 mobile drone Tier 3: Destroy 1 operational drone Tier 4: Destroy 2 static drone Tier 5: Destroy 2 mobile drone Tier 6: Destroy 2 operational drone So on and so forth... Tier 19: Destroy 3 Lancers in 5 rounds. Tier 20 (Championship): Shoot-out Duel vs. Champion of 2216; Samael "BBMF" Jackson
;D

And I think it would be a great place to learn fighting techniques.

Early on in the tutorial I think you should be told that if you want to travel more squares in a move, increase ATHLETICS. But if you want more AP you want to increase DEX and INT and PER.
These questions come up in the boards enough that I know people are confused.
Also, saying that 'certain combat enchancing drugs' will increase your AP is not enough, because people do not know that they have the combat enhancing drugs available, and they are called Stims. They expect it to be something special. So either Heaven could talk about the great demand there are for them, because people use them recreationally and because they give you this edge in a fight .... what do you mean an edge? .... explains, or this could be a suggestion from Mallor -- first get yourself stimmed up to 10 or more? Why? Explains .... then come back and I will give you the mission.

Agreed. I personally stay away from drugs because I seriously don't know what would happen to me. Are there side-effects? Are they positive or negative? Would I get withdrawal symptoms? Would those symptoms be a worthy trade-off to do drugs? Not really explained well and I believe drugs should get their own spotlight as well. Who knows, we could blend together a cocktail so powerful that our character would fight live a CK 10 levels higher. ;D

Has anyone else gotten the "blocked" toast when trying to use the "rapid zone traversal" arrows to go between the I93 tunnels and the Canal Tunnels? I think that's what traveling was referring to but I'm not sure...
(Sorry for tone/brevity. Typing on my Xoom sucks.)

waaade - the small exit between the two zones makes it an uncomfortable traversal. Its hard to use the blue arrows to actually get there. one of the map enhancements I will be making is to widen up that exit between the two zones and to align some of the hallways so that the arrows are more likely to work. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. Some of these have been rolled into the story for the next release (explaining tasers, warning about no XP when Exhausted, trying to make the regions more easy to traverse, making sure its clear when your talking to Mallor...) blackgauntlet - the next story actually features a story-based set of arena fights, so stay-tuned, even if that is a long way off still. At this time, I am mostly working on critical and story blocking bugs, but i have a running list of qualified suggestions from this thread that will get added to the story as I have time! Thanks again and keep it coming!!!
