I've noticed when I board and the enemy boards, I take less damage than when I board and the enemy guns, even though it states that the enemy missed. Could you add something like "and ship y gunned ship x and missed but intereputed ship x's boarding attack" so people see it and know that the gunning did something?
More importantly, I was wondering what skill is used most when you board when the enemy guns. The enemy alwayes "misses when gunning while I board, so dodgng the guns isn't the problem. Its the boarding damage I take following an enemy gun action. What skills would be best for that damage? Warrior because its boarding? Pilot because even though its boarding its the guns that are interupting your boarding and therfor causing the problem? Or is there another sill that plays te greatest role for boarding damage for board vs. Gun (stealth tactics intimidate)?

Remember that boarding actions is not all done within the single combat turn. As your crew prepares to board, they sit in pockets on the outer hull of your ship ready to shuttle over to the enemy ship. Even during boarding actions, shuttles are flying back and forth, so enemy gun fire may not hit your ship, but could certainly kill crew who are in transit, or are less protected by your ship hull.

Makes sense. I also figure that ship has to move to avoid the guns which strands your crew on the enemy ship and makes crew in transit to enemy ship mess up.
Anyways, what skills will help most to avoid damage caused by enemy guns when the guns miss but increase board damage? Pilot, warrior, or something else?

Dear Cory,
If I board and an enemy alien guns, what determines whether you succesfully board the enemy or not (in order of importance)
