@steppenwolf - that is an alien ship. The alien ship, looks like it's got a face, at the top.  First time I've visited this thread. Nice to see all the ships you've been working on, fallen. I mentioned a ship graphic designer, in the Ship Designer Complaints thread, but I'm not sure that would be as much fun, as seeing what new designs, YOU, come up with. Nice!  |

@cig - I responded in the other thread, it won't be something we can add. P.S. you changed your display name to Cg, but your name for @ is still cig. That is going to greatly reduce @ mentions.

Does this mean I can't change my @ name to Cg, as well? You can see the reason it was changed, in the " torp the person above you" thread. I put in a support ticket, but they say I can't change the @label, because that's fixed to user/login. So I've asked about deleting the account and recreating. Probably more trouble than not. Anyway. NOT meant to be involving you in Proboard Support stuff. |

fallen I know your very busy but any way we could get an updated version of all the ship pics with the base chassis name listed for each? I know there are a number in the ship designer alone that aren't pictured here and it would be nice knowing what the class names for my favorite designs were.

I absolutely love this game. I intend on getting the full version. A list of ships would be nice. But I would simply like to paint my ships different colors. Also it would be cool to have an option of starting or ending conflicts or alliance. I myself play like a pirate or warrior no matter what class I pick to start. So Ferengi rule of aqisition 154 war is good for business.

The ship painting option is not available in ST1 ... the labor costs are too high. I myself tried strapping a few steel song prisoners passengers to the outside of my hull with some paint and paint brushes. NOBODY told me that I needed to give them space suits ... OR bring them in during re-entry. It did annoy me though that they didn't even start the job. To say that I was disappointed was an understatement. I might vent more about it in the spice hall down the road.
Nonetheless, custom-paint or even altering key colors in ST is not possible - but hopefully is possible in ST2

Firstly I can highly recommend the full version, especially all the extra achievements and unlocks! With regards to starting and ending wars and alliances, as a solitary captain you don't have the influence in the quadrant even at the height of your powers to affect faction politics. The greater emphasis on personal connections with people in power in Star Traders 2 (have you seen the kickstarter updates  ) will enable us to have some influence in this area |
